The picture above shows the clouds playing round the mountains that are the ever changing backdrop to Dali, Yunnan province. The area has a perpetual spring like climate , owing to the fact that it is sub tropical and quite high up. Dali itself is a gem, stuffed with traditional buildings. The building in the picture is a hotel near the gardens surrounding some of the oldest pagodas in China.  The photo is free for
